This is getting well-deserved attention.
Let's be honest though, the evidence behind the Blue Zones narrative was always weak. It's basically a superficial ecological study where "causal" factors were selected by intuition.

Mushroom and chestnut patรฉ. First attempt as never got on with trying mushroom patรฉs previously. Always seem to have a metalic taste or absence of flavour. So, I think the chestnuts are a welcome addition.
I love it - nutty, earthy, tiny little L&P zing, with a herby finish. ๐ค
@Colin_R_Martin Our lovely friends from Czech are keen on foraging for mushrooms. We have been slightly preoccupied with the wine festivals (!) when visiting with them, but I'd love to learn and get to grips with knowing the varieties to pick through the year.
@AudioAndrea Although I wasn't all that complicated:
Cooked down ingredients pictured, at least 5-10 mins each, starting with shallots in butter, olive oil & a smidge of salt. Swapped sherry (what most recipes called for) with a splash of Lea & Perrins at the end & blend in the mixer.
I attended #OXLEAP24 yesterday - 1st time in Oxford, picked a good spot to stay with 30mins walk through the parks to Lady Margaret Hall - great event communicating sustainable healthy diets, identifying agents, and opportunities for transition to more sustainable food system.
