Turns out this is The scarlet berry truffle - Paurocotylis pila. A New Zealand native, introduced to GB. Records are scarce across Scotland and we’ve found 4 in Kings Park Glasgow!! Associated with Yew trees, which this park has many. #fungi #mushroomtwitter #glasgow #nature
