If scaling is all it takes I’d bet on @OpenAI long term. They have the right person to raise money (@sama) and the right person to build the necessary large scale infrastructure (@gdb). They have 500M+ active users. First mover advantage, economy of scale and all that.

If scaling turns out to not be the answer I’d put my bets on SSI (and @ilyasut)

Google is catching up very fast but it’s already too big. doesn’t have the potential to 10x valuation. For that reason, its leadership wouldnt aim high enough. They will not change the game.

Anthropic is gonna be to openai what lyft is to uber. Always a second best, assuming scaling is the answer.

I don’t see any advantage for Thinking Machines Lab vs competition.
