⚡️JUST IN: 15 rescue workers missing and killed by Israel.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, reports that 15 rescue workers from the Civil Defense and the Palestinian Red Crescent have gone missing in the Barracks area of western Rafah. The Israeli army claims it executed the team, accusing them of being Hamas members, despite the mission being pre-coordinated with Israeli forces via the Red Cross.

So far, only the body of Civil Defense chief Anwar Al-Attar has been recovered; the other 14 remain missing.

For the sixth consecutive day, the fate of nine Palestine Red Crescent EMTs remains unknown after they were besieged and targeted by occupation forces in Rafah.

Today, PRCS teams attempted once againcoordinated and escorted by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), to reach the Tal al-Sultan area in Rafah to search for the missing EMTs. However, the occupation forces ordered them to withdraw, preventing access to the area.

So far, no trace of our team members has been found (only one member of the Civil Defense Anwar al-Attar)
Yesterday, we discovered the four ambulance vehicles completely destroyed and buried in the sand.

The occupation is deliberately obstructing search efforts to uncover the fate of our missing teams.

This comes after the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, coordinated and escorted by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), managed to enter the Tal al-Sultan area in Rafah yesterday following five days of attempting to gain access. The mission aimed to determine the fate of nine paramedics and five civil defense workers who went missing after being besieged and targeted by Israeli occupation forces. According to the latest update from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the remaining 14 individuals from both teams are still missing.
