@TylerAn37168361@AidennEvansMimi I agree! My self reflection has helped me a lot. I loved the case studies too to add to my tool belt. This has dusted off my teaching skills and built on my knowledge base. #tncohort
@Danie40382496@Qingdaomon1@AidennEvansMimi Yes! Especially since my online class this year has no behavioral issues at all. It gives me some good strategies to use when I have a class someday that may have these issues. #tncohort
@ElanaMolier This ties into also giving students a "fresh" start when they are in your class. Taking some of negative comments from previous teachers with a grain of salt and realizing that the student is capable of change. #tncohort
@JennyVerdery @AidennEvansMimi Good idea Jenny! I don't have control over what is taught each week at my placement so if I could do the lessons out of order it would be better.
@AidennEvansMimi My favorite activity has been the actual student teaching! I love teaching (even with this crazy new online teaching I have been doing) and this program reminded me why I want my teaching license.
@shrty3572 With younger kids the responsibility for learning needs to be a joint effort between the parents (who encourage the kid) and the teacher. However, as the students get older (early high school) I think that the responsibility needs to be shared by the student also.
