@Pbwanderlust@MattWalshBlog In Minnesota there is a duty to retreat. In the required classes to obtain permit to carry, you are taught to avoid putting yourself in situations that would cause you to use your firearm. He clearly threw himself right into an area of turmoil. Officers do not have that same duty
@Midwest_Playboy And I bet they all thought of themselves as fat 😔 My mother while I was growing up had that opinion of herself and she was gorgeous! 5'9 125#

3/🧵 Regulatory T cells (TRegs) are the immune system's brake pedal. They prevent inflammatory responses from becoming pathological when exposed to harmless environmental antigens like pollen or gut bacteria.
These regulatory mechanisms extend throughout the body to protect against environmental antigen exposure. The balance between activation and suppression is essential for survival.
Without proper TReg function, we'd have constant autoimmune reactions to everything we encounter. This system evolved to distinguish real threats from harmless environmental exposures.
2/🧵 Can your body develop immunity before infection? Dr. Clancy says yes - through constant environmental pathogen surveillance.
Viral and bacterial fragments continuously circulate through populations. From birth, we encounter various coronaviruses, influenza, and RSV, building cross-reactive immunity that provides partial protection when new variants emerge.
When COVID-19 appeared, populations had varying baseline immunity based on individual exposure histories to related coronaviruses. This demonstrates the body's remarkable capacity for anticipatory immune preparation through environmental censusing.
1/🧵 Dr. Clancy explains how inflammation is actually an adaptive response that's beneficial when coordinated properly. When mucosal immunity works well, educated T cells from Peyer's patches are efficiently transported back to coordinate with white blood cells and clear pathogens.
But in ~25% of people, this transport gets mismatched. They can't deliver those educated T cells from Peyer's patches back to the lungs efficiently, creating a timing problem where the innate immune system gets overwhelmed.
The key insight: Inflammation becomes problematic not because it's inherently bad, but when there's a coordination failure between the adaptive system (educated T cells) and innate response, leading to excessive, uncoordinated immune activity.

@RealCandaceO Just depends on who they are close to in the family..I would have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins over to socialize and eat together.

@_APWK_ Not one of the 20 million people Biden let into the USA in 4 years has a vaccine certificate. Similarly, Congress made themselves exempt from the vaccine mandate. And last, we have 15 states and DC where you can vote with no ID.
People in the future will marvel at the hypocrisy
