@PhysicsHawk I’m a visual learner so for me the more visual examples I have in my brain, the more I can remember them and use them to learn new concepts. I need to watch more videos and look at pictures/diagrams to help build on what it is already in my brain. #feynmanchat2021

@PhysicsHawk Everyone’s brain works differently. How we train our brains to focus is based on our experiences. Some people are more bothered by visual distractions and others by auditory distractions. It depends on how your brain is wired to work and how it processes things. #feynmanchat2021

@PhysicsHawk His method is better because he tried more than one thing (like running up and down the stairs, typing, reading, talking - not just someone sick with a fever). He made fewer assumptions, which allowed him to reach a more accurate conclusion. #feynmanchat2021

@DarthLuiLePasta @PhysicsHawk I think that the bottom up method is better because you are testing each individual component for safety before it goes into the bigger system, so you know which part is likely the problem.

@PhysicsHawk I would design a system where verification steps must be followed and checked by several engineering groups, and management can’t automatically override them because they want to stay on a certain schedule. It has to be verified scientific fact, not for politics. #feynmanchat2021

@physics_lmonath @PhysicsHawk I agree that there are many other factors that contribute to why the homeless population is increasing, and we need to look at all of the factors and try to help these people get out of homeless camps.

@PhysicsHawk Climate change is not just one problem, but a combination of many problems. Also, Hurricane Katrina is another example of multiple problems (the levees were not built strong enough). Also, 9/11 was made worse because of the safety design flaws in the Twin Towers. #feynmanchat2021

@wilson23_kt @PhysicsHawk I agree that we don't want to fix things if they have not been causing us problems in the past. However, if we don't fix them, they can lead to disasters and people losing their lives.

@PhysicsHawk Yes, we do. An example is when you’re driving a car, and you know that your car tires are worn out. You keep using them without a problem, but someday you will run out of luck and your tire could blow. #feynmanchat2021
