Really interesting research study published about school mental health awareness interventions in secondary. Well worth reading https://t.co/EEyTwZBJp4 #secondary#mentalhealth#edutwitter
Having a lovely chilled Sunday and feeling incredibly proud of my little self for getting supply work straight away after setting up my NISTR account and GTCNI less than 2 weeks ago! Booked up to after Easter so far ๐
Any tips from supply teachers would be greatly appreciated ๐ซถ๐ผ

I wish someone had told me how lonely/isolating supply work can feel. Going into a school not knowing anyone, sitting in a staff room at lunch time and not one person attempting to even acknowledge you let alone make conversation ๐ฅฒ just makes you feel pretty rubbish ๐
THIS โฌ๏ธ I've realised that whenever I'm teaching I literally change my accent completely from a strong northern Irish to a weird one with quite an English twang due to people not understanding me in the past and because I pronounce so many things so differently ๐คฃ
I started yesterday in my lovely Reception class which is every Monday/Tuesday til July, and tomorrow I'm in Year 3, absolutely loving the variety of teaching experience I'm getting to complete at the moment ๐ฅฐ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ซ๐
Is it normal to feel totally drained after doing a teaching application, having to tailor each one to each specific school?? Asking for a friend... ๐ฅด๐ฅบ #primaryNQT#jobapplications
