@DrRebeccaRyan @noah73736372 In the recent provider manual from @PutrinoLab for LC they recommend testing for SIBO. I’ve had LC for 3.5 years with poor gut motility and constipation. Should I ask my doc for testing? How to check for FL?
@DALupton I was interviewed for the article. I had my last appointment with them yesterday and the doctor was devastated for all of us. They were only told last week it was closing, so no continuity of care and no option to refer those of us out of area to another service.
@SMpwrgr I had my last appointment with the clinic today and my doctor was devastated for all of her patients. Because I am out of area she can’t refer me to any services at St Vincents. This is an appalling situation.
@aparachick@CrabbBrendan My niece is looking for info on Covid vaccination for her under 5 kids. Have encouraged her to push for clean air strategies in daycare.
@DrRebeccaRyan@SEPfieldPatient@ClichyRose3@chydorina I’ve been reading your posts with great interest. On Ivabradine, Midodrine and Florinef for LC induced POTS. Chronic constipation is an issue. Could this be made worse by the Midodrine?
Imagine trying to normalize this. This brain is from a man in his fifties who suffered from cardiac arrest after Covid-19 (no-vax). Most people don't die of Covid, so we can't really look at their brains. Does that mean #neuroCovid is not real? For many people, yes. 🙄
@urbanmel These stories are so important. I’m 2 years and 3 months in and sit with you in this crap. So often it feels like we are screaming into the void when we post anything Covid related, but every post gives me hope. Thank you.
25,000+ Australians have died of COVID. Deaths in Year 1 were largely not preventable. We didn’t know how COVID was transmitted, we had no vaccine or antivirals. But more people died in the last 2 years than in the first 2 years. Deaths now are because opinion trumps evidence
I spent another day in the microscope taking photos of dozens of healthy brains infected with #SARSCov2 (monkey and human), only to come to Twitter and see all the 'specialists' denying it is real. People who have never used a microscope before. This world is a dystopia.
@kaveri59872487 Thank you so much for this comprehensive summary. I have just sent this to my son who is a first year medical student and doesn’t mask. I can only hope he has teachers as well informed as you. I’ve had long Covid for over 2 years now and cannot work. This thread has made my day.
I teach patho to nursing students. Every semester since spring of 2020, I have taught about Covid. And every semester to have to change my lecture to keep up with new data. I was teaching Covid this semester and I told them that if nothing else, understand the science 1/n
@DoctorKarl@ABCscience@DoctorKarl your next interview should be with @mcseeley whose PHD is on long Covid and POTS / dysautonomia (which impacts 75% of long Covid ppl).
An unwelcome guest: a photo of #SARSCoV2 infected cells arriving in the brain. This indicates neuroinflammation and blood-brain barrier disruption. The staining is for SARS-Cov-2 nucleocapsid protein (pink color), astrocytes (yellow), and nuclei of all cells (blue). #neuroCovid

"At the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, only people who have recently been PCR tested are allowed access. Yes, which starts TOMORROW! On June 5, 2024! Think about it! 🤔"
The wealthy and powerful are doing this behind the scenes all the time.
Presidents, Prime Ministers, Kings, with their hepa and PCR tests and masked servants.
And the rest of you can just eat covid.
Today the first 3-year follow-up of #LongCovid for outcomes @NatureMedicine https://t.co/Pee1HzJUPn

@Hayley_Gleeson Sobbing reading your article. Two years into my long Covid journey and terrified for those who acquire Covid in hospital. The deaths are tragic, but we are yet to find out the long Covid costs.
