There are key interpersonal skills that are vital for leading change. The personal reflection in #si401 ensured that I identified areas I excel in and areas for improvement. I aim to work on these areas on SP4 and revisit the reflection at the end of SP4 to asses my progress.

Teachers are experts within the teaching & learning field, hence it is natural to lead in this area. However this is not a hierarchical position. Through partnership, teamwork & collaboration with others i.e SNAs/ SETs etc. children can receive the best education possible

When we created the menti in #si401 today about the role of the SNA, it was evident that much of what an SNA does overlaps with what a teacher does. One thing an SNA does not do is plan, however their input into planning is vital. We must include and harness their expertise.
