To understand how crazy this moment is, you have to understand what happens when there is no adult in the room. Even the Supreme Court tried to help him — and the Republicans ahead of the midterms — by ruling against his sweeping tariffs under the emergency powers he had been using to impose them as polls show that he's losing on the economy, 'bigly!' But with his inflated ego and lack of broad understanding, he thought that by being defiant and imposing even more tariffs, he was actually doing the right thing. He could not foresee what was coming. So he began to insult the justices who helped him return to power, calling them fools and dogs.

With only 181,000 nonfarm jobs created in one year — the lowest in decades — Americans had already begun turning on him on the economy, and the red light was blinking. This is what happens when you fail to understand that what makes the United States great is the concatenation of all the brains — millions of smart people — not one man. One man can make mistakes. When you combine the brains in Congress with businessmen and women, experts, farmers, and people who actually build and run businesses, the result is much better. The tariffs would be targeted and more effective. But one man, full of inflated ego, believes he alone has the monopoly of wisdom, that he can do better than those who fought the British and the French and won, and more than those who fought in World War II and won.

And here is the devastating truth: markets do not care about ego. Farmers do not harvest pride. Small businesses cannot pay their workers with defiance.

In the end, when leadership becomes a one-man experiment driven by impulse instead of collective wisdom, the cost is not abstract — it is paid in lost jobs, closed shops, foreclosed homes, and families quietly falling behind.

We all know that history does not forgive arrogance wrapped in power. It records it — and the consequences last far longer than any one presidency.

The mass exodus.

Eight million Venezuelans
didn’t flee 'U.S. imperialism'

They fled socialist tyranny.
The same socialism Zarah wants for you.

That’s not solidarity.

That’s romanticising oppression
from the safety of Coventry South.

Real solidarity is standing with the
shopkeeper whose shelves are empty.

The mother who can’t find medicine.

The student who escaped because
speaking freely meant prison.

The British Left always does this.
They side with the flag.
The uniform.
The 'anti-Western' strongman.

Never with the people under the boot.

They hate America more than they love freedom.
They hate capitalism more than they hate tyranny.

And they will excuse any dictatorship
so long as it shouts the right slogans.

Venezuela doesn’t need Western activists.
It certainly doesn't need Zarah and her placards.

It needs its country back. 🇻🇪

And anyone who’s actually been there knows it.
