27 years ago on 27 September 1996, AFG former President Dr. Najibullah was abducted from UN compound, and shot in the head by the #Taliban militias for his “nationalist stance” and tough resistance against Pakistan backed Mujahideen militias during Jalalabad operation.

Afghans now remember him for the accurate warnings given about Mujahideen internal internecine clashes.

Interesting how everyone in the Muslim world calls out France for its banning of the abaya - it’s outrageous- but is pretty much silent on the ban on girls education and women’s right to work in Afghanistan (a Muslim majority country) by excusing it as “Afghan culture”.

I use social media mainly for experimental studies. I follow Afghan and Turkish twitter closely.

Afghan twitter is a reflection of rage and trauma.. They don’t read. They don’t think. They are looking for preconceived words, phrases, or name of “leaders” that they aspire or hate. They like you if you feed their contrived and established beliefs, or they hate you if you make a critique of their “leaders” or ideological beliefs.

That is why they can be easily manipulated, exploited, deceived, and used by opportunists, orientalists , colonialists, and various intelligence services.

There's always margin of inefficiency and corruption in every aspects of Government.Modern day taxation is payback for political representation.
Tax has no religious basis,it can be administrative though by state

Maybe not for everyone -but for me- I pay attention to a pattern. If a 'hero' is comfortable making a great of money based on their identity as a 'hero'.... I can anticipate a justified downfall will come.

@awsanzar I'm old enough to remember many people that used to say Taliban brought peace to Afghanistan during their Government in 90s.
Such superficial claims are washed out like sand castles.
I've been to Kabul in 98 and 2 weeks ago as well.
I see same hopelessness among people. Good luck

@wasilEjaaz The indifference to the plight of millions and quoting insignificant individuals seems a great ploy to present Taliban in positive light.
In the garb of presenting C/narrative PR and lobbying is a great skill that the aforementioned gentleman has.
