@RepGuthrie @HouseGOP The increase started 3 years ago. I'm not sure if you remember but that was during the Trump era and also the Covid era. Supply chains were affected and buisnesses leaned in by raising prices but not lowering them when it was over.

@RepGuthrie That's not true at all. Fentanyl chemicals are sourced in China and synthesized in Mexico. However thousands of pounds of an opiate aren't smuggled across the border via migrants looking for jobs. The drug is brought in legally through ports in bulk.
