@benedictevans This is so funny, as a lot of European FinTech just copies what works in the US. Imagine this means we have companies copying the sucess of a US firm that solved a problem which doesn't pose a problem here to begin with. 😅
@punk6529@inversebrah As you talk about short term speculation the meme is what generates the momentum. so yes, cashflow then is a derivative of meme. Example: Gamestonk
The longer your time horizon (investing rather than scalping) the less relevant meme becomes. Also see GameStop.
Looking for opinions: For a long time BTC only went up because everyone HODL'd. ~90% of supply never traded. Now Crypto-Bros are acting like making BTC a.o. sellable via CreditCard is positive for Cryptocurrencies. Makes no sense. WDYT?

It's decided:
We're giving away all 10k of Scales NFTs for FREE
This project is now about more than just paintings; it’s an art performance. A social experiment, playing with the idea of radical generosity & the gift economy in web3.
We know, it's insane.🤣

@kate_young_ju This doesn't say there is 1 buyer. It's "everyone's" volume. There is an overall high volume. Might be classic long positions, might also be closing existing short positions. After a 60% surge in 1 week, the latter is quite likely. Pure guess though.
@EthanPoff@brainiacnfts Could you specify what you consider untilitu in this case? I've been following them since weeks before mint and while it's a cool idea, I fail to see the abundance of utility you describe.
