First, I don’t think anyone *likes* paying taxes. Well, except for @mcuban.

In the ‘90s I didn’t pay taxes since I was mostly reliant on the state. I had a couple of kids and was raising them mostly alone. /1

Do you really believe that rich people are going to do something with that money that is more valuable than supporting these systems?

@DonCochraneYOW I feel like this is still how young people live. Except without the meals and they aren't able to save anything because the rent on the 1 bedroom in a 6 bedroom house with no living or dining room is a huge percent of their income.

@ABetterOttawa The NCC is guilty of this as well. They don't plow or light! The pathway along the Scenic Driveway. Very hostile to cyclists and pedestrians.

@DaveBikeSki @NCC_CCN @CapitalWard To me the solution would be a two way cycle track on this side of Bronson. There is just about space for it might be possible without taking out a car lane. That and a signaled crossing of QED to get to the canal would be amazing.

@DaveBikeSki @NCC_CCN I bike this everyday with my toddler in a cargo bike to get to Carelton from the canal path. It is ridiculous!
