I made an experimental model router for @pidotdev using Jev as the decision maker.
It's not a generic "pick a cheaper model" router. It isolates work into logical threads and prices cache reads/writes, cold context, expected output + the cost of switching back.
@CompleteSkeptic@typesafeai This wouldn't of been possible without Jev, it's an amazing primitive to make software with πͺπ»
I'm looking for a full-time job!
- Backend (esp. security stuff!)
- Proficient in Go and TypeScript/JavaScript

Send me a DM or an email to pilcrow(@)pilcrowonpaper(.)com
There is also a lesson about teamwork, trust and experience lurking in here but that will be a thought dump for another day :)
Kitchen chefs are incredible!
I just had the most profound experience eating Ramen in Japan.
The restaurant is set up in a way that allows for full visibility of the kitchen, it was mesmerizing but more than that it was eye opening.
Every cook had a station (some shared a station) and a clear objective.
They had a timer system to know how long a time constraint objective is taking like how long the ramen noddles were cooking.
There was no orechatrator, no middle man, no aggregator nor a controller. Each actor knew exactly what to do based on the inputs it receives and in the grand scheme of the kitchen the meal got finished to perfection deterministically.
It was magical, I got a lesson in distributed systems by eating noodles, I wish that happened more.
Financial success is only one aspect of a successful game, it looked to me like you were having a blast making it and learned a lot along the way which is worth a lot on its own. Publishing a polished game is incredibly hard and 99% of game devs fail to do it but you did! So you are undoubtedly a success :)
With all that in mind I still hope that your game turns out to be a huge financial success ππ»
@FrameworkPuter Do you have a guide on how to convince an Apple pilled company to switch to Framework? My MacOSlop is driving me insane and the 13 pro looks so good!
Probably ease of configuration, it's a matter of placement. The config file is just an implementation of a system that allows your software to become easily modifiable to the constraints of the system and without that system, configuration can become tedious and hard to reason about
I do most of my work on a remote server and every oauth2 flow spits a redirect to some port I can't reach. manually scanning the URL and tunneling it got old fast.
so I wrote a tiny CLI in Rust that auto-forwards the port back to my laptop . copy-paste the URL, auth works, done.
called it hitch. it's here if you want it:
curl -fsSL https://t.co/NPes6K2g5X | bash
https://t.co/9LO2ihRdi0
hope it saves you some time (and sanity) too :)

I wanted to be able to transform a 2D pixel art image into a 3D GLTF in runtime to save me time with 3D modeling for my voxel engine, so I made a tool for it. It's open source, so feel free to check it out!
(It also has a CLI interface if you just want a file)

Contributions are welcome :)
Also, it's my first crate published to https://t.co/MoAOudWzLg (https://t.co/RCZBrYroFX) π
