@OgbeniAdugbo When the legislative oversight committees are scrutinizing these agencies in public we tend to think it’s in the best interest of the people but it’s not and never has been. Akpabio wouldn’t be in office if it were
Peter Obi just filed a N5 billion suit against Kenneth Okonkwo over his defamatory remarks.
And do you know the most interesting part?
The guy Kenneth Okonkwo quoted, has come out to deny everything.
The guy is saying he never told Kenneth Okonkwo that Peter Obi asked NDC South East aspirants to contribute N10 million each to fund his presidential ambition.
Now, as Atiku would be looking for a VP; Kenneth Okonkwo would be looking for evidence.
France will do your taxes

Later, you will blame MTV, sorry CIA
Okey Ndibe, a distinguished writer and Nigerian public intellectual, based in the US was detained earlier today at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos upon his arrival from the United States by operatives of the lawless @OfficialDSSNG
According to Prof. @OkeyNdibe the secret police claimed that his arrival in Nigeria was "suspicious" and demanded that he disclose where he intended to go and whom he planned to visit. When it became clear that his detention could trigger public outrage, the DSS reportedly changed its position, claiming that the officer in charge of his "case file" had traveled out of the country and they were attempting to contact her. He was eventually released.
This incident is yet another disturbing sign of the shrinking civic space under the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime. From the harassment of journalists, activists, and dissenting voices to the increasing use of state institutions to intimidate critics, the pattern has reached an intolerable level that must be totally resisted.
Many Nigerians witnessed the controversial judgment against SERAP, the growing attacks on free expression, and numerous other violations of civil liberties. Press freedom organizations, including the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), have also raised concerns about the treatment of journalists in recent years.
A government that fears criticism inevitably fears democracy itself.

“This is the highest state capture Nigeria has ever experienced. The legislature, the judiciary, all gone. And that is expensive for democracy. The political class of Nigeria is a total disgrace, they think it’s all a game.”

There is a huge ideological difference between Peter Obi and Tinubu.
Tinubu believes that with taxes, you can improve productivity.
Peter Obi believes that with productivity, you can improve taxes.
That's the social contract we talk about. Peter Obi invests in people, they become successful and they return back in large folds.
Tinubu believes that even if hunger is killing a man, he should pay taxes so the government can continue to live as it pleases.
Choose wisely.
Peter Obi's 6.1 million votes came largely from genuine grassroots enthusiasm — especially among youths, urban voters, and those tired of the status quo — driven by his frugal image and "Obidient" movement.
The only reason Peter Obi got 6M votes 2023 was because he was adopted as the Christian candidate as he was following churches telling them is a religious war.
2027 no church will enter this misadventure, I doubt he can get 50% of his 2027 votes, and Kwankwaso cannot do much.
@ansem_edet Corruption has devoured you so deeply, you now assume every large crowd must be bought—just like you do with your godfathers. You guys can't fathom genuine support because you've never had it."
If this is YOUR reply as to what you understand from my reply, then whoever follows you lacks comprehension like yourself, and english is not your strong suit. Your response only demonstrates the limitation of your cognitive ability. Social media is a level playing ground, even a job with an ssce requirements can now claim to analyze complex national issues. You're the tip of the spear and your knowledge is limited to it. Thank God for AI
You are confusing duplication with specialisation. Let me educate you.
The Office of the Special Adviser on Homeland Security is not a replacement for the NSA. It is a focused desk within the National Security Council, designed to coordinate internal security policing, civil defence, border security, and counter-terrorism while the NSA continues to handle the broader spectrum: foreign intelligence, counter-intelligence, and strategic national security.
This is not duplication. This is what every serious country does to prevent one office from being overwhelmed.
No executive order or National Assembly bill is required. The President has constitutional power to appoint advisers and assign their portfolios. That is not a legal vacuum; it is executive authority.
You speak of "lack of knowledge." You have just demonstrated yours.
The NSA remains in office. His constitutional role is untouched. The new adviser is not competing with him he is complementing him. If you cannot see the difference between strategic coordination (NSA) and operational domestic security focus (Homeland Security Adviser), the problem is not my understanding. It is your refusal to distinguish between levels of security management.
And as for "social media traction" and "limited education" – ad hominem attacks do not strengthen your argument. They reveal that you have no substantive rebuttal.
NEXT TIME, BRING FACTS, NOT INSULTS, YOU 1D10T.
