Neuroscience Institute (NI) are using Al models trained on #fMRI data to predict how the human visual cortex will respond to particular images. In essence, researchers are beginning to move from observing brain activity to predicting neural activity from physical input.

CMU's #NeuroAl research is part of a broader trajectory in which Al moves from modeling intelligence, to understanding biological intelligence, to interfacing with it, learning from it, and potentially incorporating biological computation itself.
