The Honourable Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, yesterday, during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of the 401km Lambata-Lapai-Agaie-Bida-Makera-Mokwa-Kontagora Road in Bida, Niger State, highlighted the importance of the project in enhancing connectivity.

The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is 750km. What the president did is add 400km so that the entire East-West Road that has been submerged due to climate change will be reconstructed and reintegrated into the Coastal Highway.
