@xcupcakekingx "I would like that very much, you're a good boy Oliver. Don't let anyone diminish the light within you"
Aoife touched her grandson's cheek fondly.
@xcupcakekingx "You're a good boy, Oliver, I know you'll do what's best for you from here on out"
Aoife finished the rest of her tea as she stood up from her seat. The deer wasn't going to finish fitting itself and Oliver needed to gather his thoughts properly.
@xcupcakekingx "Far be it for me to stop you, child. You, of all my daughter's children, deserves to hear answers to questions directly from her mouth"
@xcupcakekingx "That envious hatred seems to only exist in Ieuan these days. Your brother and sisters only want your mother to curb his behaviour permanently, I suggest you reach out to them and rebuild a new relationship"
@xcupcakekingx "Favour you over him because he was a powerful boy but wasn't born with red hair like her prophecy had stated. Imagine hating a baby, a child and then an eventual adult over something they can't control, ridiculous"
@xcupcakekingx "Your mother doesn't know, nor will she ever find out. Her and Ieuan are not on good terms after he killed her, so I intend on keeping them apart"
@xcupcakekingx "The brat had the nerve to growl at me like a dog, I thought it fitting to change him into one"
Aoife sipped at her tea nonchalantly as if the act itself had been just as thoughtless as breathing.
@xcupcakekingx "What a grumpy little pup he made too. You and your siblings don't need to fear Ieuan when he's like that"
As much as she hated to dampen the mood, Aoife knew there was more to tell about Imogen.
@xcupcakekingx "Ieuan has already been turned into a harmless pup, it won't be hard to get him locked away. If any orderlies try and stop me, well...let's just say they can't and won't"
@xcupcakekingx "Dark magic alone is shallow and not enough to make one powerful, and the same goes for light magic. As for imprisonment, it can still be very much arranged for your brother"
@xcupcakekingx "Yes. Your mother's prophecy was that she, like the others, would bear multiple children. Yet there would be one born with hair as red as the blood spilt by their parents in order to sire and birth them, and that child will know power unlike no other"
@xcupcakekingx "The oracle gave my children a prophecy of their own, both clear and unclear. The prophecies were meant to guide them along a path of strength, but not to overtake their entire being. You can guess which of my children allowed for that to happen"
@xcupcakekingx "The difference is that your mother encouraged that sort of behaviour instead of punishing it like I did"
Aoife paused to shake her head and sip at her tea.
"Once the children were old enough, I took them to an oracle to determine what lay in their futures"
@xcupcakekingx "Your mother is the youngest of my daughters, and much like your Uncles, lived in the shadow of your Aunt Aine. I did not give her the attention she deserved and she resorted to misbehaving in ways not unlike your brother Ieuan, so you can see where he got that from"
@xcupcakekingx Aoife took a seat opposite Oliver, her own cup of tea floating just above her hand.
"You love Imogen because she's your mother, but you hate her for the pain she's caused your brothers and sisters. How about I start from the beginning?"
@xcupcakekingx "Naturally. Why should anything be a secret? I told your cousins outright about how I gained magical power from the Three Realms, so why should your mother's past be kept a secret?"
She summoned a cup of tea for them both and draped a blanket over Oliver's shoulders.
@xcupcakekingx Wiping the blood off her hands onto the skirt of her dress, she tucked a curl of his hair out of his face.
"Let me guess. You want to know everything that led up to your mother's actions before approaching her?"
@xcupcakekingx "Nonsense, there's always time for family"
The older woman removed herself from the deer corpse and moved rooms to greet her grandson.
"Especially if it's you, Oliver. I knew you would seek me out on your own. The blood told me as such"
@xcupcakekingx "Don't stand in the doorway, child. You're letting in a draught!"
Aoife was in another room, hands buried deep within the chest cavity of the deer that had greeted the young man at the door.
