The last 4 days have been HELL in #ALS land. My #caregiver of 3 yrs quit over text sending me into a tailspin. I contemplated hospice to ease the new burden of limited care on my wife. Thankfully 2 new caregivers came down from the Heavens. They start training today. #NotTodayALS
This will be an excellent opportunity for people with ALS, their doctors and therapists and carers to connect around the world. Prof Kano is a leading authority on ALS and care and treatment for people with ALS. We're looking forward to joining this.
We are organizing an event called "ALS Café” for patients with ALS. The theme is “Sharing Knowledge”. The seminar also creates a "reframing" process where patients and caregivers can share their problems, find new options, and regain motivation in their daily lives. #ALS#MND
Yesterday we had an angry member of the public jump out in front of the combine around the headland because his sandwich was covered in dust. He then came out again and stood in front of the combine. He was so lucky not to have been hit by a vehicle. Thanks mum for de-escalation
I'm finally getting a very helpful assistant on the phone who is familiar with the "service" issues and is doing their best to fix this... more to follow (then we ask "Should Barnaby" be out on a line gang helping get decent service along the New England Goat Track?
Telstra torture - so I after the store "assistance" got my account details wrong - I went onto Telstra "help" used the app to get a phonecall, received a computerised call then before I could speak, was cut off... Telstra's incompetence is only matched by its lack of coverage

@Telstra Joanne your fast response is the first time Telstra has responded with any speed and focus... if they can monitor Twitter this well, they should share this skillset with general CS and CRM
Worse than waiting in a foetal position on the phone for Telstra so-called "customer support" is going into one of their stores and having an arrogant "person" telling you that your Telstra-generated username/pw is wrong and your fault. Such incompetence should foster humility.
@Telstra No - the attendant repeatedly told me the Telstra generated account details were incorrect and somehow my doing. Condescending, insulting and wrong. Given Telstra's inconsistent service, no surprises.
