An attack on family planning centers is an attack on life-saving health care for the Granite Staters who rely on them. Today I joined @PPNHAF, @loveringhealth, and @EqualityHC in speaking out against the Executive Council's recent decision.
Statement from @GovChrisSununu following Executive Council’s rejection of family planning funds for abortion providers in New Hampshire #NHPolitics via @AdamSextonWMUR
Time to call your Executive Councilors and let them know you’re outraged with their votes too. It’s a dark day for reproductive health in our state. #NHPolitics
Executive Council votes to reject family planning funds for the Equality Health Center, the Lovering Health Center & Planned Parenthood #NHPolitics via @AdamSextonWMUR
I’m very disappointed in @DaveWheelerNH@TedGatsasNH@JanetStevensNH & @JosephKenneyNH for putting politics over the health & safety of NH women. 10k+ now won’t have affordable access to cancer screenings, contraception, etc. I won’t let them forget what they’ve done. #NHPolitics
Today’s Executive Council vote to defund reproductive health providers and dismantle #NH’s Family Planning Program is shameful. We’re proud to stand in solidarity w/ the network of providers & will never stop fighting for @ppnnehealth patients. #NHPolitics
Senate Republicans insisted on including onerous financial reviews to examine how state funds are used. Today, DHHS confirmed what we already knew: no state funds are used for abortion care. Yet, 4 GOP councilors voted to defund @ppnnehealth@EqualityHC & @loveringhealth1.
Yet again we have Executive Councilors asking if Plan B is a form of abortion. Yet again the basic science behind Plan B needs to be explained to the people about to defund our health centers. 😒
Councilor @TedGatsasNH says he’s voting no on the contracts because providers could give Plan B to 15 year olds. Someone needs to tell this guy you don’t even need a provider to access Plan B… is he going to try to defund @cvspharmacy too?
@CindeWarmington lone yes vote on family planning contracts. "The failure to fund our reproductive health system will result in negative birth outcomes, unintended pregnancies, teen pregnancy, and increased untreated STDs. A no vote harms the women and children of our state."
GOP Executive Councilors vote 4-1 to deny state funding to @PPNHAF, @EqualityHC, and @loveringhealth because they provide abortions. Vote comes after DHHS says it confirmed they are not using state dollars for abortions, per new state law. #nhpolitics
“A tremendous amount is at stake for our patients,” @EqualityHC, who said state funding cuts may force the center to cease services or offer fewer patients sliding-scale fees.”
The vote is today in Nashua. #NHPolitics https://t.co/0lw4VgCJkh
The health, safety & access to reproductive care of Granite Staters is in the hands of Gov. Sununu & the four Republican Executive Councilors tomorrow. It is past time for them to stand up for our well-being. #NHPolitics

Last night @Scotus let Roe die over TX SB8. NH is the next battleground for everyone with a uterus. In response, I visited the amazing advocates and escorts at @EqualityHC to thank them for their work. I will continue to fight to prevent forced pregnancies
