JUNKYARD KING ⚔️ EP1 - "Training Day"
Here’s what I learned making the latest episode of my 80s-inspired action-adventure fantasy buddy comedy about a kid, a glowing sword, and a mechanical crow.

Red sprites reportedly spotted over Tibet
These mysterious flashes appear high above thunderstorms and last only milliseconds, making them extremely difficult to film
As gravity distorts our view…
This simulation shows how the extreme gravity of two orbiting black holes bends and redirects light emanating from the chaotic hot gas surrounding each one. As they pass in front of one another, light weaves through the fabric of space and time.
Martin Scorsese is an advisor to Black Forest Labs.
He's spent six decades shaping how the world sees stories. Now he's helping us shape visual intelligence with human taste and craft at the center.
We sat down with him for a working storyboarding session using FLUX.

Introducing Project Eden, a world model research preview from @VASTAIResearch
Project Eden is a persistent, multiplayer world model that fundamentally breaks from existing paradigms by decoupling the underlying world state from visual rendering.
Instead of treating the world as a sequence of transient frames, Eden treats it as a structured, evolving environment that runs continuously, can be modified by user actions, and can be consistently observed from any viewpoint.
A trip down memory lane...
This is "Another."
This film was made with early Comfy, Stable Diffusion, Warp Fusion, Deforum and early Runway Gen 1 and 2.
Probably one of the first hybrid AI+Live Action films ever made. I was in production in the summer of 2023. Most of my industry filmmaker friends were more open and curious on how AI could be infused. It wasn't mainstream, and most people didn't even understand how AI could be used in film production. Just new tools that could help small teams produce their vision.
I have always been resourceful, and when I discovered the possibilities of these tools, I was instantly hooked.
The R&D we all have done over the years is proving fruitful and AI is finally ready for primetime.
Pretty soon we will be back to focusing on just stories. The tools will fade away, and all that will remain is you and your vision.
So here is a remastered 4K version of a time capsuled look at a time where filmmakers could just cook without people worrying about how something was made.
Keep tinkering my friends. We are right on time.

Introducing Project Luxo: a new initiative exploring how AI-generated video has crossed the uncanny valley.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared a series of short films with Hollywood executives, producers, directors, writers, actors and reporters. The response has been unanimous: the technology is finally good enough to disappear behind the story.
One of those films is The Rogue — a fully AI-generated, ten-minute film that spent over a decade unproduced in the traditional system: too expensive, too difficult, too risky. Created with Runway in under a month by a single person.
