@ReactiveCoreSt@allenholub If you have a team with stable velocity and/or cumulative flow, there should be no reason why projections can't be done to satisfy the paperwork. Bothering developers for estimates pulls them away from development!
@rdotapps@LeadingReport@grok If @grok , doesn't have access to the "real" data, it will most likely continue to hallucinate. You can't trust AI to have the facts on classified matters.
@allenholub Couldn't agree more! Bottom line, let development teams worry about time. They know best. Management just needs to remove non value-added tasks from their team if they want to actually help to improve flow of value.
@unclebobmartin The modern-day developer has no idea how much easier you have made their job, Bob. The high-speed development frameworks are built upon foundations that YOU have laid. Your principles are timeless and can/should be applied in any modern project. I am glad for your experience!!!
@AaronRietschlin@unclebobmartin IMO...It isn't whether she does or doesn't do an interview, it is more about a president that won't talk to the press. Presidents should talk to the media to keep us, the people, informed. Her behavior is unpresidential. If I vote someone into office, I expect communication
@pmarreck@unclebobmartin@mariofusco I would love to see you try to put the jigsaw puzzle together with a codebase your NOT already familiar with when the code written did NOT follow the rules in the Clean Code book. Good luck!!!
@fuckyouiquit That graph makes perfect sense to me. With increased efficiency through automation, less people hours are needed to do more work. The lines diverge more and more as technology improved over the years. Not sure why that is so hard to comprehend.
@davidtatum4 @unclebobmartin Do you folks even read what @unclebobmartin writes??? He doesn't deny climate change!! The climate IS changing. The earth is going through a warming cycle. There is debate on whether certain actions by humans have an impact. I am more worried about those actions!
@RBReich I would argue that Elon Musk's personal contribution to society GREATLY outweighs any benefit that extra tax would bring to our society from the government. Before you hate the wealthy, take some time to look at what they are doing with their money.
@allenholub@unclebobmartin That's kind of complicated. I attended a health impact seminar that shared this info. The link to the organization doing the seminar is this : https://t.co/xXi5Kqi3Fg
@allenholub@unclebobmartin You pull in heat disease and stroke and other things that require doctors. I think you would be surprised how much if it is due to diet.
@unclebobmartin@allenholub Another solution is to make our population healthier! Start supporting the farming industry and make healthier eating more affordable. The trend of rising cancer rates and auto immune diseases started back when processed foods and refined carbohydrates (aka sugar) was introduced
@lievendoclo@unclebobmartin@elonmusk Well, my bet is on Elon. He is doing what all great new CEOs need to do... Get the Bozos out of the company! Steve Jobs had to come back to Apple to do the same thing. Cronyism starts to take over an organization if left unchecked. I see nothing but a bright future ...
@alexbunardzic@unclebobmartin Correct, I think that is the point Bob is trying to make. Theories (ideas) are held to be true until disproven. Your example was already disproven, thus it can no longer be considered "theory".
@alexbunardzic@unclebobmartin That experiment on the idea that arsenic is harmless to humans has already been conducted, no need to repeat it. I feel sorry for the person who disproved that experiment the first time. There are most likely different rules of engagement for human experiments, btw.
