La Coalition pour la Cour Africaine invite à s’inscrire pour participer à la formation en ligne de renforcement des capacités francophone destinée aux Organisations de la Société Civile (OSC) africaines sur les droits des femmes et des filles, afin de renforcer leur engagement avec les mécanismes africains des droits de l’homme (la Commission Africaine des Droits de l'Homme et des Peuples, la Cour Africaine des Droits de l'Homme et des Peuples, et le Comité Africain d’Experts sur les Droits et le Bien-être de l’Enfant). Cette formation est soutenue par le projet AWARE de l’Union Africaine GIZ @GIZAfricanUnion
PUBLIC CIBLE: La cible principale est constituée des OSC en Afrique qui se concentrent sur les droits des filles, les droits des femmes et, plus généralement, sur les droits de l’homme. Lesdéfenseurs des droits de l’homme, les praticiens du droit, les membres desjudiciaries nationales et toute personne intéressée par ces domaines sont également invités à s’inscrire.
Un certificat de participation sera délivré aux participants qui suivront intégralement les quatre jours de formation.

In the efforts to enhance younger generations' awareness of the work of the African Court @court_afchpr & to increase their interest in the African Human Rights system, the Coalition will hold an introductory webinar for its student members on 20 March 2025.
As part of its efforts to increase mobilization and awareness among diverse stakeholders to enhance understanding of the work of the African Court, the Coalition launched a free membership program for African university students in 2024. The 2025 membership applications for students will be open in October 2025.
With this program, the Coalition hopes that student members will become catalysts in their respective institutions and communities, transmitting human rights values and principles beyond classrooms. It is also expected that Coalition student members will play an essential role as good ambassadors for the promotion and protection of human rights in Africa.

⚖️ On February 3, 2025, participants at the African Court Coalition Stakeholders' Platform had the privilege of attending the opening ceremony of the African Court's 2025 judicial year at the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights @court_afchpr Headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania! The theme this year is "Advancing Justice through Reparations," a crucial issue for the continent's future. We were honored to have His Excellency José Maria Neves, President of the Republic of Cape Verde, as the Guest of Honour.
The Coalition for an Effective African Court is ready to embark on this journey of a Court for the people, by the people, and serving the African peoples.
