@northman8887@AriFleischer This version describes it differently. Two facts are clear:
1. Arabs rejected UN plan that would have given land to Palestinians.
2. Most fled after 1948 partition and ensuing attack by neighbors. But some decided to stay and still live there today.

@northman8887@AriFleischer Gaza was in essence a second state and look what happened. As long as Hamas with their main purpose to kill Israelis exists there can be no peace in that region. Hamas has to be destroyed As long as they have a symbiotic relationship with Palestinians then people will die
@northman8887@AriFleischer A. Palestinians don't want to live in the same state as Israelis.
B. There are two million Arab-Israelis living in Israel who have the right to vote.
@northman8887@AriFleischer And please provide evidence that Israel was doing that. And if you don't that retaliating against Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis from unprovoked attacks is legitimately defensive then there is no hope for you.
@northman8887@AriFleischer And you operate under bad info. The Gaza blockade was in response to a terrorist group being elected to run the place. And it was only to prevent arms from getting in. 2 was no reason for violence, 3 was rare and not the gov't. 4. who was struck in Syria shows why it was done,
@northman8887@AriFleischer Now you're reduced to meaningless platitudes and stating your own opinion. And still haven't answered how many people would be dead if everyone left Israel alone.
@northman8887@AriFleischer In WWII the US killed 100,000 Japanese civilians in a fire bombing raid in one night. How many deaths would have occured if everyone left Israel alone?
@northman8887@AriFleischer Are the gunmen currently using the building to attack the neighborhood. In that case the police would have to assault the building and try to take out the gunmen with as few hostage casualties as possible. Just like Israel is doing in Lebanon.
@northman8887@AriFleischer That doesn't give Hezbollah the right to attack Israel and puts the blame solely on them. And just like Hamas, Hezbollah is using civilian deaths caused by their actions as PR against Israel.
