@ArtemisConsort @elonmusk The problem isn't a lack of a frontier. There's still a huge frontier in biology and medicine- caution and safety prevent us from moving forward. To be honest I'm not entirely sure how @elonmusk, or really anyone, managed to get around humanities' risk- aversion

@51marine1 @elonmusk I'm tired of people thinking the law will fix things when it never has, and this is a great example of it. The judge not being strict enough is not the problem. Compassion and generosity and mercy are the reason why society keeps going, not laws and policy.

@elonmusk Elon Musk, I've responded to your posts on this topic since 2020. I don't know everything you know but are you certain it's really bioweapons? It could just be virology research in general. Gain of function research could have other applications besides killing millions.

@Hank9311 @elonmusk @kymille I mean viruses outnumber the rest of biological life on earth 10 to 1. There's so much about them we don't understand.
Also, viruses are used as genetic editing tools. Perhaps someone wanted to make a coronavirus that could deliver genes to human cells.

@elonmusk I have no idea what to think about immigration. Throughout our countries' history people have fought it. I do think as long as the statue of Liberty says,
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”. Immigration won't go away.
