@JoshuaMorgret I don't know if it's the case in this situation, but I do think that sometimes there's a discrepancy between the time listed on the brackets and what's told to everyone during the tournament meeting.
@Leah2Go Our paper went to 3 days/week about 5 years ago. It was recently sold to a company in NJ. The physical paper looks more like a newsletter. Deadline for the Saturday paper is around mid-afternoon Friday, meaning that stories on Fri HS games don't appear until the Tues edition.

YES!!! My parents are notorious for this. What makes it worse is that they'll do it AFTER the microwave timer runs out and they then put the food back in for a 2nd time.
@11W There's a big inferiority complex going on here among Ohio State fans acting like we should be entitled to play damn near every big game @ night.
You all will really lose your minds when the Oregon game ends up at 3:30 on CBS for the second year in a row.
@CHSBlueDevil1@ohioBKcoaches People have disagreed with me on this, but I'm against it for two reasons. Philosophically, I think it makes bad habits and suspect fundamentals stand out more. Practically, it's just one more person to find to staff a game and many schools struggle with that.
@dandakich I don't agree with you on much, but I do on this. I live in Ohio and this is very much a hot topic right now. The coaches association submitted the proposal to the OHSAA back in March. The OHSAA's executive director stated that there's not much support within the organization.
@LanceMcAlister@reds51397353@OHSAASports That's a really condescending response. You are falling into the trap that many others who share your opinion fall into - you have no appreciation for how difficult it is for schools to secure game workers who are knowledgeable and reliable. You make it sound so simple.
Geno Auriemma is just pissed that his team shot only 31% from the floor and got its butt beat. And made it look worse by throwing his temper tantrum and walking off the floor without shaking hands with the whole South Carolina team.
@nwobball Definitely not, but I don't see how you can't pick up on the public vs private animosity. It comes up every single year, multiple times each year.
