Fantastic article on $GLNG by @EricRobken I love the part where he explains how a new FLNG project improves the target price. I didn't illustrate it because the stock is so cheap that it doesn't matter, but I am confident that we'll have new projects soon

@Carlos_MoraM Good details. Do you care to hazard a guess as to the value of the 10% stake in the Southern Energy JV and the commodities exposure? It has worked out that the commodities bonus (Brent and TTF, hedged) for Hilli has fully matched the charter EBITDA 1-for-1.
@Geiger_Capital Pardon my ignorance, but for monthly data don't we need more than 1 significant digit?... i.e. are we talking 0.27 versus 0.24, or 0.34 versus 0.18?
@FrankMattes6 Right. I guess they'll be selling the volumes in USD's, but any foreign investment will help harden the local currency and lower inflation. Leading to economic normalization.
The Argentina Economic Normalization trade is an underappreciated strategy going into 2025. What is a hidden benefactor of this? Golar $GLNG. Actively working to open up the shale gas boom to overseas markets. #lnginvestor
@LNG_Investor_ Yeah but the 'Production' volumes go to line their own pockets, while it takes 3 yrs to do "Commissioning". Not a bad business model if you can get away with it.
@johnarnold Because oil production is a lagging indicator. It takes at least 5 years for technology to reach scale. So the production curve should be shifted to the left.
