@beatmastermatt I’m not a lawyer, but I can read an amendment. The language is quite clear, and it was backed up by 100 years of precedent. Amendments are made or rescinded through a distinct process, not through the president’s magic Sharpie.

@AmyMcGrathKY That’s the most interesting part of this whole thing. Neither side has much believability, and the president has no patience when it comes to negotiating. It took the Obama administration months of experts working with the Iranians to get a deal that included inspectors.
