@cv_cev@Hossylass We didn’t have any such “prize” in my day. Everyone was entitled to go on school trips, and there was funding available for those who couldn’t afford it. Yes, I am that old. Rarely do I feel things were better then than they are now. This is the only one (so far).
@speakoutsister I think we should rename accessible toilets as “accessible and inclusive toilets for oppressed, marginalised groups (and babies)” just to be clear what society is doing to us all. I will always welcome and include trans people in the spaces I occupy.
@TrevorPTweets@EHRC This woman welcomes trans women who are among the most excluded and oppressed people in this country, in all the sane spaces she inhabits. I was sexually abused years ago by a man, it is men who do those crimes. Trans women are women and not the offenders.
@soulseamstress2@notwaving Disabled people please. Do not remove our humanity from us. I have only ever experienced gentleness, love and kindness from my trans friends, some of whom have been subjected to horrendous abuse. I am not harmed by trans people, only by men, in trousers without pretence.
@beatami_ I do frequently, especially when I know I’ll be with a bunch of TERFs, just to irritate them. Mind you, they’re probably going to be acting all victorious next time I see them, will maintain my resistance to their views and behaviour, which at times is appalling.
@Mcbeath_on_sea@Hossylass@SKinnock@LindaR39 I left years ago when a previous Labour government was demonising marginalised people, had considered returning for a while. That will not happen ever now, such a bunch of bigots, I have no time for them whatsoever.
@joss_prior@PaulaCoyscot@mary_q_contrary It’s going to make our tame architect and associated builders and plumbers very happy though. Already redesigned one set of toilets in one of our buildings, there’s another that definitely needs some restructuring, can make it all gender neutral, if it annoys local TERFs, fine!
@Jake_Ent01@LordOfBrum Mostly I agree, but we already often have to share them with baby change facilities. Some of us have limited continence, but don’t need full incontinence protection. Queuing for over 20 mins because of babies leads to accidents, don’t need it made any more difficult.
@areyoflight Those are fun, I’d wear them - 70 years young, and also never growing up. Life has to be lived joyfully and unicorn leggings strike me as a good way to go. Sorry you messed up your knee though, hope it recovers soon.
@Heccles94@redfresds It isn’t. And some of the comments here are disgraceful. Many women support our trans brothers and sisters and want them to live their best lives. It’s just a few prejudiced bigots that don’t.
My case against the Labour Party is the first to directly test the Supreme Court judgment (FWS v SGM) - we must end this madness when trans women are unfairly discriminated against.

It’s all about limiting disabled lives. Trying to restrict and control us, we comply or we pay. These restrictions may prevent some of us from graduating, from having a fulfilling career. Doing the opposite of what they claim to want, putting extra barriers in our way.
My daughter became ill at uni . She has a wheelchair accessible vehicle. She became unable to stay in her uni accommodation so we did a round trip of 31/2 hours 5 days a week. This would have exceeded the current motability mileage.
@NinaPanickssery Many of us live a long way away from our children and grandchildren. Since we became semi-retired, we do sometimes help with childcare, usually taking our laptops with us so we can work while there. It takes a minimum of an hour each way, more for me using public transport.
