@RevShark@levie@crystale I don’t know anything about what happened to your wife. I know I appreciate your investment advice. But clearly your value of the service outweighs the downside. So use it for what you gain value from and dismiss opinion, rhetoric, or solution-less opinions.
@pjhermaninmaine Agreed. The middle is closer with conversation and understanding; and empathy. A wise man told me once - seek to understand, in order to be understood.
@RevShark@levie@crystale I legit appreciate your feed, just trying to understand. I agree to the issues of social media (the social dilemma on Netflix comes to mind on their impact). Wondering what specifically you believe to be a pondered solution?
@RevShark Do you have a solution? Or an option around a specific matter or just broad generalizations? Coordinated oppression, how does this motivate you specifically? Maybe I can read it on real money as a member?
@ohhushmusic @7AustinL @saxena_puru@netflix Plus if you want to use their platform for cycle you need to buy: stationary bike, watch, iPad, subscription. For the price delta I’m unsure why someone wouldn’t just take a hard look at Peloton. Apple fitness seems more of a shot at the Beach Bodies of the world than Peloton.
@ohhushmusic @7AustinL @saxena_puru@netflix Apple fitness is interesting. But if you watch the $PTON investor meeting from yesterday it’s hard not to be fired up around their vision. Am I the only one who’s sick of Apple and the ‘yet another subscription’ plan? Where is the trail blazing they once lived by? Copy cats now.
@strivewind1@jablams1@BrianFeroldi @Matt_Cochrane7 $aapl should buy into $PTON with a partnership. Apple Music vs. Spotify (imagine adding song to Playlist mid-ride). Could bundle music+Peloton App into single subscription. Bikes in retail stores. Additional Apple Watch integration for health. No brainer.
@TenaciousEye@saxena_puru Not ruffled in the least. You made a claim on TAM being limited. How do you define “limited” quantitatively? If you are an unemotional trader on a consumer product you’ve not experienced then it’s hard to take value from your unsubstantiated claim. Short?
@TenaciousEye Have you flown on a Boeing airplane? It’s also a tough comparison to the stickiness of Peloton. Most people I’ve seen form opinions on $PTON haven’t done the most intuitive research you can do - try it! Then we can debate valuation.
@TenaciousEye@saxena_puru Do you have a Peloton? What’s the TAM in your view? International expansion? US barely penetrated. Monthly cost could raise to sticky user-base by 50% and barely affect churn. Seems like just scratching the surface. Moat is massive (name closest competition- Bowflex not close!)
