Glad I didn’t delete my twitter because now I can share this. Please feel free to disseminate widely!

@vogliamo_tutto I assume you’re probably already familiar with this essay by Macherey on the subject? (Ditto “The Mesh of Power”) https://t.co/MTuZMAQLBJ

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@justindclemens I was literally reading your contribution to this volume a few days ago!

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@LowkeyTwits Post 👏 more 👏 Winston 👏 (that’s the dog, right?)

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@DuncanAStuart I got about a fourth of the way through SoL before I had to take a break owing to other obligations. “Smashing one’s head” is an apt description.

@Interventizer Courtesy of Badiou’s reading of Hegel even pre Theory of the Subject

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@Interventizer In sum he charges Hegel with suppressing the materialist dialectic (scission, contradiction) with a logic of iteration - so that Hegel can’t think true multiplicity but remains wedded to the One. I’d recommend reading Ruda in particular on this as he gives some background

@public_friend @JaredSacks1 @VersoBooks Wait – I thought otherwise? https://t.co/CLZye7KllW

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@DanielTutt Funny, you know that Marie Bonaparte had a hand in Lacan's expulsion from the IPA (or, so I've heard)?

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@mystery_manners Yes!

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@re_colston Glad you're doing better now – hope it wasn't too dire at any point!

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@re_colston How long have you been ill? I came down with severe symptoms just yesterday but luckily for me began to feel a lot better by late last night and have continued to well into this morning.

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@DougHenwood Not yet, I would have become eligible for a booster shot only in the last week or so.

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@DougHenwood Yep. And it’s kicking my ass just one day after first coming down with a mild sore throat.

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@tonyjballas Thank you – I've got grad school apps to finish in the next month so fingers crossed it doesn't last long!

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@VonkLevi Okay, some unsolicited professional advice: make that last one your official author pic. It's adorable.

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@BugmanMD Also omg, how did I not know you liked Mahler??!

[Erin Audubon @ErinAudubon]

@BugmanMD Aside from the typically reliable Bernstein and Boulez, I really like a number of versions by Solti including a fairly rapid pace live version he did (Decca - 1970 it looks like?)
