Disinformation is qualitatively different than misinformation. Disinformation is defined in the literature as “a product of a carefully planned and technically sophisticated deceit process,” (Fallis 2009).

The main difference between mis- and disinformation is INTENT.

Lots of "natural" things are harmful and lots of synthetic things perfectly fine. It would be VERY CONVENIENT if we could just say "natural good, artificial bad" but that's not how it works. You want to say something is bad because "chemicals," you're gonna have to get specific.
