@JinxNr13 seems to be a bit fast, but this is the exact boolean solver which is kown to be pretty slow. Might look different with the raycaster solver in 4.2 .. or the manifold solver in the future..
Did some exploration with geometry nodes for modelling lately. A result was this slice modifier that doesn't use the built in boolean nodes. Went for simple edge-plane intersection test, and tried to support various data layers (sharps, uvs etc.)

@moppius Same here - still have to touch Maya sometimes because of clients. Also just having to deal mostly with static meshes helps quite a bit too :)
