You’re going to need to show a bit of urgency if you want to beat an #escaperoom.
You don’t usually need to rush, but if you find yourself lounging around, you probably need to speed it up.
Good rule of thumb: If you haven’t made progress in 5 minutes, ask for a hint.
@mindfactoryct We see it too. Teams recently on a trend of shouting “x is missing!” when it’s not, they just haven’t done the puzzle correct or haven’t progressed far enough to have everything needed.
Sometimes ego but others just sad because they’ve possibly had a bad experience elsewhere
> Open items that say “do not open” - it’s not a trick folks!
> climb on props
> hack padlocks - seriously, you’re just going to confuse yourself 🙈
5 Things You *Shouldn’t* Do in an #EscapeRoom:
1) Remove ceiling tiles & climb up there
2) Use ALL of your strength to open that locked box
3) Draw dicks on walls
4) Jump off furniture
5) Remove safety covers from electric sockets and stick stuff in them
