@HeroUrsula We tried the disengagement tactic and they did not care. Would either continue the behavior until time out. Then would resist time out, extend time out, and when time out was over rehash the issue, ensure understanding, right/wrong. They always said "Bad is fun" lol.

I can imagine it. Not every kid requires physical discipline. The fact that you can't imagine that some kids require it tells me you either aren't a parent, or your kids don't have a strong will.
