I ended up quitting due to too much abuse off power and to much negligence of everything from top to bottom. Petco failed it's staff. Far too overvalued of a company.

@peta I work at Petco and have a pic I can DM. BETTA fish treatment by pet retailers is horrible. I know so much. People defending these treatments are just simply unaware of how they are actually treated. Sure bettas like small spaces but y'all have no idea how it actually goes down.

Our stores are still open to public with no limit per family leaving people to run around and touch everything. Employees are exposed more than anywhere else. I'm burned out and tired. No one cares. #coronavirus

Most of my staff are furloughed. Hours are the same, SHIPMENTS ARE THE SAME, ANIMAL ORDERING IS THE SAME. TRAFFIC AND GROOMING IS THE SAME. The deposit everynight is the same if not more than when this all started. We are over worked and burned out. #coronavirus #COVID19

Petco just cut half my staff and placed the on furlough. We are still doing the same numbers everyday. Same shippments. Same work load. Same hours. No protection. No help. I'm tired. My depression is getting bad again. Is it even worth it anymore. I'm burned out.
