Since September, the Saudi war in Yemen has displaced at least 130,000 people from their homes. A staggering 17 million people face hunger.
Britain's support for this catastrophic war - and its complicity in horrendous suffering - must end. Where is the strategy for peace?
@premnsikka Well yes, because I get a minimum pension and I pay tax on it. I’m only allowed £12.500 a year the very small amount I get after that is taxed yet the minimum wage is around £25.000 a year. Go figure.
Navi Pillay on #C4News: "The Genocide convention, which was passed in 1948, places a peremptory obligation on every state.. they are obliged to take action to prevent genocide wherever it is occurring or is about to happen.. its time now that they carry out these obligations"
@shaneleech58@GPC_Globall Yes, they make such a big thing about their right to exist. ( I would question that) so why don’t they go to the place where all the hate gathers and keep away from the rest of the world.
@TheShoeLady33@GPC_Globall Even in handcuffs they will not be subject to the things they torture Palestinians with , mores the pity. They will be treated with a dignity they don’t deserve.
@jacksonhinkle So now he wants to bring France into his grubby war. For heavens sake lock the man up and his whole cabinet, they are nothing but murderers being allowed to walk the streets. Come on world do something about them , what are you afraid of?
@e_winzar That is great to see , I don’t know much about Judaism except that it is a good sound religion , sadly the Zionists have taken it over for their own ends. God bless these people.
@akerr_andrew@BSmithBenS My boys had it together 3 and 5 , very nasty for a week or two, the eldest had an eye affected. Neither could stand the light, and no immunisation then.
And your periodic reminder that taking on sick and disabled people, especially young ones, is a PR battle even the "Nasty Party" Tories never win. A Labour Government on the up needs to think VERY carefully about who that exact battle is really aimed at and why. /1
@suey2y@botzarelli I wonder how he thinks this relates to matey living in a small flat with a high rent who is worried about how he will feed his kids, school uniform etc. or even if he can get a job. So good of Rupert to let us know how perfect his life is.
