@Bubtok@tractorgirly@dave24144975 Hi 👋🏻- yes. Commercial vehicles, as in vans, get taken to weighbridge and pay by weight. However, it’s not vast (South London) and they should also have a Waste Carriers Licence. You have to show at local tip each time, or at least we do.
The Government’s new training programme to get more young people into the building trades is welcome news - it needs to be part of a wider shift to ensure vocational
training has parity with higher education @fmbuilders@CITB_UK
@EmilyBaah I am so so sorry! I’m a knitter&only use wool (British if I can)/natural fibres. At the other end of your fleece I’d be lucky to make a single jumper for wool costing between £100-£160. Something seems wrong somewhere 🐑 🧶
Great to link up with @RIBA and @CPRE to highlight the need for more local house builders to build quality homes for all. We need more diversity in the housing market @fmbuilders
Once again a huge thanks on behalf of @fmbuilders to Gavin Richardson of member company HM Raitt & Sons Ltd for delivering the Sash & Case window demo at the Edinburgh Traditional Building Festival. Gavin sharing his knowledge with a very engaged audience @scottradbuild

I lost my Basset Florence a few weeks ago- I have just received flowers and a condolence card from her food supplier. Good food and good people too - thank you @ButternutBox
Last month, we launched our 'Growth from the Ground Up' manifesto in Parliament, hosted by Natalie Elphicke MP

Two strimmed Lizard Orchids that were growing near Sawston, Cambridgeshire. This is a plant with legal protection under Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This is despite me previously informing @CambsCC that the orchids were at this location.

This is very sad news. Andrew was a great supporter of the FMB hosting our annual parliamentary receptions. He will be very much missed @fmbuilders@LibDems
"UK water sports demand clean-up, blaming sewage for illness and event cancellations."
Truly there is not a single person in the country that isn't impacted upon by the greed, corruption and financial engineering of the water industry. 🤬🤬🤬

Great to catch up with Mark Garnier MP - an active champion of the FMB’s call to licence construction companies and knock out the cowboy builders. How can it be right that anyone can call themselves a builder!?

I’m an NHS GP & I’m raising a 🚩
There’s a significant GP crisis in England
GPs are unemployed & can’t find work
Many having to leave their families to find work anywhere in the country
Ironically, there’s also a “GP shortage” in the NHS with patients struggling to get an appointment with a GP
So what’s going on?
GPs ARE BEING REPLACED!
Practices are being coerced by NHSE into hiring less qualified GP substitutes
Patients - your right to be seen by a doctor is being taken away & it’s happening NOW!

If the board of @Ofwat had any honour they'd all resign, today!
