Since the Simi tweets came out, I want everyone to pay attention to the lack of consequences for everything. Not even did she feel sorry for anything said.

She did not lose her brand ambassadorship with @MOLNigeria, and in fact, a lot of your favourite feminists here have made tweets asking to play her music using their Syms Speakers in light of those horrific tweets.

I must remind everyone that it all started with her activism over what was clearly a false claim of rape that everyone with half the brain could tell was false. People decided to show her that, at least by her own confessions, she's a pedophile and a child rapist. Hence, she cannot be the one to lecture anyone on these things.

Influencers and big accounts took up jobs to support her and claimed she bought the account. When that excuse failed, they said there's nothing bad about the tweets.

@naptipnigeria, @Lagosdsva couldn't be bothered about any investigation at all. Not even to go to the said school or invite her for questioning. We've seen how they've handled other cases in the past when men were involved.

In fact, @naptipnigeria, @Lagosdsva and @SympLySimi herself obviously believe that they will just let time pass and everyone will move on like nothing matters.

They're right because people will move on. Yet, I say these things for posterity and for everyone to see the hypocrisy of the activism that many front here, and also for the lack of consequences.

Please, let us remember this historic event in the coming days and in future. No one should try to bore us with noise on anything that involves cancelling a man over any suspected reckless act.

I think with the whole Simi's old tweets that have resurfaced and how it has been handled by the public, we can all finally tell ourselves the truth.
And the truth is, the world is not fair to men.

I remember how Ezra became popular here a few months ago.
All he did was ask for his money that Maki borrowed from him.
Instead of paying back, she came out to reveal the dark sides of Ezra.
No one asked her! But she did it, gained sympathy, and Ezra lost his company.

But of course, she paid him back his money.

My point is that the world did not even give Ezra a chance to tell us the reason why he had those weird fantacies.

Now, look at how Simi's issue is been handled.
All of a sudden, people are making excuses for her. Some are even saying that she bought the account.
Even after she came out and admitted she wrote those tweets, people are still making excuses for her.
