Instead of homeless sweeps, have empathy for your fellow humans and push for more shelter and permanent supportive housing. Policy without empathy is a hamster wheel that will keep us running in place, doing nothing as our society grows tired, less vibrant and more indifferent.

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to educate the 2nd grader class at Marie Reed elementary school in DC. We talked about laws such as 504 and ADA and how they shaped the country to be more accessible and the importance of action in activism.

@Boo98873145@moms4FAPE Districts usually consult w a lawyer if they think that a hearing might be initiated. That’s how settlements happen before hearing. Some of these lawyers are nasty, others just do their jobs & interpret the case according to laws.
