Years ago I found this photo of my grandparents in 1960s Melbourne & I’ve dreamed ever since of getting it tattooed.
Well I did it!
I can’t thank the incredibly talented Emily Thomas enough for transforming it into ink form - it is everything I’d hoped for & so much more.

A piece of my heart will forever belong to Liverpool, an emotional but very special 5k in memory of the 97 this morning ♥️
Never forgotten. Always remembered.

As a former member of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, I am ashamed by the crass refusal by Glasgow City Council to grant the Freedom of the City of Glasgow to the Regiment on its 20th anniversary.
There are hundreds of serving and former members who are Glaswegian. We lost friends in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Half of Scotland’s 32 local authorities have already granted Freedom status to the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Next month, the Regiment will receive the Freedom of Dundee. I hope Glasgow City Council will reflect on this tone deaf decision and reconsider it.
Astonishing that @GlasgowCC has voted to deny the @The_SCOTS Freedom of the City of Glasgow, breaking a tradition that Glasgow has had for generations.
Apparently giving organisations Freedom of the City is “inherently problematic” according the Glasgow SNP group.
🇪🇸 NEW: Spain is showing how to unlock co-ops at scale.
✅ Make them easier to run
✅ Back them with law
✅ Recognise community energy and housing co-ops
For co-ops and the wider social economy, this is how the model grows.
A lithium fuelled fire is a statement of the obvious, which was quickly established by speaking to first responders on the scene last night and which has been clearly documented by open source footage. Given the shop has been destroyed, there isn't much left to investigate there.
Alternatively Glasgow residents can actually read the @Labour_GCC amendment which merely asks for the SNP Government to fund their own policies - Labour doesn’t expect Glaswegians to foot the bill - especially after being hit with a 5.9% council tax rise on Tuesday.
Sports clubs across Scotland are to get access to £8.14m of UK Government funding to improve things like pitches and changing rooms
36 projects benefitted from such grants last year
UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy visited East Kilbride United to see how the money’s being used
All MPs enter a ballot to be picked for a PMQ - you have the same chances of being called as the rest of us.
I note though that you came out the ballot for DEFRA questions this morning but didn’t show up to ask your question….
Shocked by reports of Israeli authorities entering @UNRWA’s compound in East Jerusalem.
This appears to be a blatant disregard of Israel's obligations to protect and respect UN premises.
UNRWA must be able to continue their essential work supporting millions of Palestinians.
