๐ friends! Happy to say I started a Substack (who hasn't) to discuss tech disrupting real estate & cities. Thanks to @drorpoleg whose book inspires me to think about this topic & @packyM who inspires me to write
1st post: Miami tweets, what else!

@tbpn@davidchang Do states that remain more drinking heavy become a better opportunity for restaurants? I'm from Wisconsin where the drinking culture remains strong, and Madison has always been a pocket of good restaurants.
Would it make sense to try markets like Milwaukee over LA/NYC/SF?
@realEstateTrent Bitcoin is the best investment for betting on people getting stupider and easier to convince. Itโs reached escape velocity on multiple narratives that have convinced people itโs valuable and there is no turning back now. Best way to invest in collective stupidity increasing
@buccocapital Apple.
6 months ago I would have said Salesforce. But I've been really surprised by how much of my Salesforce workflow has migrated to Gong
@moseskagan A key point here is those agents will replace consultant costs and one off spends. This allow agent companies to price as a service fee vs a yearly saas subscription.
This better aligns cost to outcomes for RE development as opposed to the way software is bought now
@signulll What do you think about Google's potential as the B2B solution of choice? We use it at my company and there are some pretty substantial advantages for a Google suite company (I still prefer Claude/Perplexity for personal use)
@shaunmmaguire Itโs just shifting what you trust from institutions to individuals, I donโt think itโs any less memetic or herd biased.
Cc @DKThomp for his point about us living in a high trust society, but of individuals instead of institutions
@packyM As someone that is very skeptical of the thesis that the Trump presidency will lead to all the great things you talked about, it was still a thought provoking read and I enjoyed it.
That's the sign of a great piece!
@packyM I hope you're right and that energy can be harnessed for a lot of good irrespective of who the president is
I also think it's telling that his initial moves are a loyalty test and a takeover of military and judicial authority. Talented/independent people don't last in his orbit
Evolution of product positioning, in each AI hype cycle:
Phase 1: Buy our product, it's AI!
Phase 2: Buy our product - it solves your business problem, and it's AI.
Phase 3: Buy our product, it solves your business problem.
Every time.
