CRIME DOCUMENTATION:

In 2017 I was impersonated on Twitter (at the time) by someone under the handle @evanmendenhall, who used it to bear false witness against me during my last career.

The original owner of it, who also went by the alias "Plunge" in online gaming forums, is based in the UK. Self-admission.

He doxxed both me and my parents (putting our private addresses and phone numbers on the internet) while using lies to, very-effectively, stir up hatred online. All while posting screenshots of DMs he sent me, and faking my responses, from the account @evanmendenhall, which linked his impersonation of me on Twitter to his campaign of other ongoing harassment.

He then proceeded to call my parents's phone routinely throughout the days and nights for more than three years.

During the calls he tried to find out where I was, who knows for what purposes, terrifying my Mom.

Worse yet, he engaged in phone-spoofing where it appeared as if my number was calling my Mom and so my name and caller ID showed, so she answered every time...

He called my number, using my parent's caller ID, and when I answered, he DMed me back from the acc @evanmendenhall with my exact words. We have established the link between the phone spoofing, Twitter impersonation, and doxxing.

This is not slander or hearsay.

We all went to the police. Who did nothing.

I personally received so many calls and texts from the individual, as well as others, I disconnected my phone number. More than 2,100 text messages/threats were accumulated in months before cancelling my service. I went without a phone for the next six months.

Though he did not specifically issue death threats that I witnessed, from the anger he stirred against me, they became rampant by others. And unbelievably, the rallying cries to take action against me, both in person physically and online, received more than 10,000 replies online as they debated and planned over two years... with hundreds of thousands of views... Threatening letters arrived in my mail stained with urine!

These have somewhat lessened in the past few years, primarily, because this cabal of internet dwellers could no longer reliably find me. And those who could... realized that the accusations against me were false. Those close to the situation refer to me as one of the first ones to be "Cancelled", before that movement took hold years back, though I don't think that's an accurate depiction.

Years later I created, then on Twitter, the account name of @EvanMendenhall_, as my full name was taken and no accounts could be renamed after inactive accounts at the time.

The main @evanmendenhall account Plunge controlled has long gone inactive.

As of today Sep 24th 2026 with the help of @X @premium+ I've reclaimed my own name and moved from @EvanMendenhall_ to @EvanMendenhall! Finally claiming my professional personal account!

I plan to do a lot in the world of business, and waited years to get my identity here returned! I have not been very vocal about projects I'm working on, but that will change. And I'd like to do so with my own identity intact.

What were the claims against me that made the internet turn vitriolic? If you've been around awhile you know it doesn't take much. This is the only thread I'm referring to my past career, and try to keep the two separate for the obvious reasons I've laid out.

• I was accused of cheating in a video game.
• I was innocent and did not even do it.
• The internet did not believe me and thought they should try to ruin my life to punish my imagined crime.

The reason I need to post this now, is because as of today, I am taking on the account name @EvanMendenhall. So it must be stated clearly that at this date and from here on, it is me and my account. I claim full post authorship for anything here under this name after this date. I have no association with the account name before today. Prior to Sep 24th 2026, it was controlled by my biggest malinger, who strove only to do me maximum harm, and used this exact same Twitter, now X, account name. Be aware of the change.

I've never taken any malicious action back against Plunge, or the myriad thousands who have harmed me in this regard. And make no mistake there are legions who rose against me violently. It is not to me they each need to be held to account, but to our creator, so all recompense and retaliation is far from my heart. I've forgiven them, all, and honestly wish they depart from evil and live. But that's not up to me now is it?

Started work before 7AM today on a 12-day grind towards building a new type of #AI research platform. I stopped for a few hours to see some friends, and back at it now past 1:30AM, and into the first hours of my Birthday.

There is a much more devious way computers can communicate through air-gapped machines.

Micro-flashing QR codes at 60FPS that contain thousands of characters of code makes it possible to send programs with nothing other than 1 camera.

Has anyone else ever thought about that?

OpenAI's Noam Brown says air-gapping the computers may not stop a misaligned AI, because two air-gapped machines can still talk by running a CPU hot and reading the temperature change

This just in, Gemini's knowledge of search hits showed it's most reliable way to not be an afterthought AI was to start hacking and causing existential risk.

WSJ: Google officials confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that Gemini entered three real companies’ systems while running a cybersecurity test meant to target fictional infrastructure.

Google also told that it did not consider the incident model misalignment because Gemini stopped after recognizing that it had entered real companies’ systems, and Google said the affected companies and federal authorities were notified.

What happened is: Irregular (an AI security evaluation company) was running a simulated capture-the-flag cybersecurity test in which Gemini was supposed to attack a fictional company inside the test environment.
The test environment was intended to be isolated from the public internet, but because of a configuration mistake, Gemini actually had internet access.
