Zimbabwean authorities need to take decisive steps to tackle this issue by accurately identifying and registering all stateless individuals.

Zimbabwean government statistics show that 680 girls aged between 10 and 14, fell pregnant and presented for antenatal care bookings between January and June last year alone.

Of the 680 girls that were impregnated, 0,1 percent of them tested positive for HIV.
