@Fiona_Clarke_ This raises important issues. I prefer stress and coping plans, completed with rather than for the people we support, when possible, rather than seeking to 'fix' the persons behaviour. The focus should be on what we can do differently to support individuality & reduce stress.
Back to school can be a stressful time for everyone. Especially those with ASD or other cognitive differences. It's important to remember that behaviour does not happen in a vacuum. #PBS#evolveapc
