@Gpanayotidis@JimmyMu35984013 All of their success is built on the foundation of that money from cheating, or the prize money or sponsorship that they wouldn't have had if they hadn't cheated
@crunkjoose@LFCLaurie This is something most people miss, they assume the team City beat in the final would have won the trophy, but the team they knocked out earlier were also denied the opportunity
@Knox_Harrington Been saying this for ages. And by the time you factor in this, the CL and prize money they wouldn't have had, the higher commercial revenue off the back of this success, there has probably been multiple billions invested that they otherwise wouldn't have had
@sportingintel@Malachians I don't think that even works, what about seasons where City are well ahead while 2nd and 3rd are close? If one side has say a cup final to prepare for, they rest players for a game or two as 2nd/3rd are effectively the same, they don't do that if they are in a title race...
@afcjxmes Not a Spurs fan, but they finished 5th a number of times missing out on CL football. Difference between CL and Europa League revenue is perhaps biggest in football. I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs had one of the biggest financial claims.
@DaleJohnsonBBC It's mad that VAR can overturn an incorrectly awared corner as authorities don't want goals scored as a result of an incorrect (factual) decision. But are happy to let what most people consider an incorrect (subjective) decision to give a game changing penalty to stand.
@paris_wisdom@DaleJohnsonBBC It was a subjective decision which the referee got wrong. As it was subjective VAR can't (shouldn't) intervene. That's the system, as stupid as it is, it's where we've ended up.
@AnfieldRd96 Not giving a score because I think the business we have done has been good, but like last year the problem is the business we haven't done which leaves us short.
@RobGutmann At this point the squad is both weaker and smaller than last season, when we already were short of players. Going into the last week of the window in that position is disgraceful
@paulp_123@RobGutmann Mbaye doesn't need a place in senior PL squad because of age. Ekitike is likely to be out until Christmas so Barcola could take his spot until then. CL squad is more complex as Mbaye, Jacquet and Leoni need non-HG spots so Ramsay Endo and Chiesa miss out on CL but not other games
@Jack_24__@michael_reid11@BackseatsmanLFC He needed to spend 3 years in England before the end of the season he turned 21, we loaned him out in Scotland for 6 months so he only got to 2.5 years so in non HG
