Men’s lifestyle magazine ☕️🚬 Tales of danger and discovery 🗺️ written for explorers, mercenaries, misfits, and madmen - posts written by Editor-in-chief
A little about the Expedition Society Journal:
It is a men’s lifestyle magazine with a mission to defend western civilization. We publish tales of danger and discovery, written for explorers, mercenaries, misfits, and madmen.
We cover a variety of subjects from accounts of African warlords fighting communists, to cocktail recipes, to personal memoirs about fatherhood (which we did this past June to celebrate fatherhood). Our vision is to combat the marxist narratives that are pervasive in academia and popular culture.
We are looking for a variety of voices from the Right to contribute their thoughts and help us explore our culture and aid in our mission to defend western civilization.
If you are interested in contributing please send us a DM.

BREAKING: Tennessee death row inmate Christa Pike remained alive after receiving two lethal injections, according to her lawyers. At 8:26 p.m. local time, witnesses reported that both syringes had been administered and Pike was still breathing and snoring. Her attorneys said she appeared to receive two doses of pentobarbital and remained alive more than 40 minutes after the second dose.
Officials then escorted media witnesses out, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections said it could not immediately explain what happened. The attempted execution followed the Supreme Court’s decision to lift a last-minute stay that had temporarily prevented Pike from becoming the first woman executed in Tennessee since the early 1800s.
I want to explore this more. It seems most people really don’t know what human nature is like absent the influence of Christian Western Civilization. It’s brutal
In 1964, a young University of Michigan anthropologist went to live with a tribe untouched by modernity.
What he found destroyed the noble savage myth.
Then his own discipline spent the next four decades trying to destroy him for publishing it. 🧵
On this day 185 years ago, an English adventurer became the ruler of Sarawak.
James Brooke arrived in Borneo with his own ship, helped put down a rebellion, and on September 24, 1841 was granted control of Sarawak — beginning one of the strangest political dynasties of the 19th century.
He would become known as the White Rajah, ruling a jungle kingdom on the island of Borneo and laying the foundation for a dynasty that would endure for more than a century.
This week in Expedition Society Journal, @Will_Tanner_1 tells the extraordinary story of James Brooke and the White Rajahs of Sarawak.
