The railway can be an innately dangerous environment to work in. It's one reason for a quick and effective field collection method when it comes to habitat data collection

Some of these polygons can already be classified using the satellite imagery available and then verified later on site

Going to pilot a safe approach to recording habitat data along the railway using mobile tech over the next few weeks. Some ecologists already use this approach elsewhere but a lot don't particularly for track #consistency
